When I try to get a new painting started .....

I have such a time with painting a new subject .

 I wish I could just paint and get it over --- but no -- I have to dwell on this forever it seems.

I started a canvas with a med. green background and will some how put a blue dog on this with some flowers.

Exciting once I get going but I just dwell on this.

Maybe that is the fun of it --- like treasure hunting only I am hunting for inspiration !!

Sometimes it is easy for me and other times it is just a puzzle.

I will hopefully get this done this weekend when I have time.
