Just a note -- I like writing posts but have had a bit of a busy few weeks -- so I will get back to my painting and blogging as soon as I can !!

I really enjoy writing and showing off my work when I can !

I loved painting this one because I love the PEACE sign , don't you ?

I know a lot of people and a lot of cultures going through tough times and usually you can catch a glimpse of PEACE in all the madness !

basic colors -- blue, red , yellow -- and mixture of all of them

I painted a backgound with a brush of all the colors and blotched with a paint brush to form the peace sign and added touches throughout the painting .

I love to mix and twirl the colors -- that's the hippie in me I guess.

I like to add interest to the paintings with texture !!
