You can hang paintings alone or in groupings or alone for varied interesting effects. Some people prefer a symmetrical hanging for a formal look, but don't rule out asymmetry for a dynamic look. Of course, there are many more variations and seemingly endless possibilities! These are just a few to get the ideas flowing.
